Welcome to the Holland International Blues Festival press page. Accreditation for the 2019 edition is not possible yet.

Regulations

1. ACCREDITATION GENERAL
Accreditation is for critics and journalists covering arts & culture in general and (blues) music in particular. Accreditation is granted only to professionals assigned by recognized media to cover the festival. Even then it may be necessary to make a selection if there are too many applications.

2. DEADLINE
Deadline to apply for accreditation is May, 26th.

3. USING THE ACCREDITATION CARD
It is mandatory to have your card with you at all times during your coverage of the event. The accreditation card is strictly personal, and not transferable. In case of misuse, it will be confiscated. The accreditation card will not be replaced in case of theft or loss. The press card is valid only for this year’s event.

4. TO OBTAIN THE ACCREDITATION CARD
Please COMPLETELY fill out the request form. All data fields of the form are mandatory. Incomplete request forms will not be processed.

5. FREELANCERS
Freelancers will not be accredited unless they are assigned by recognized media and meet all other requirements. Also ref. Item 1.

6. NOTIFICATION
You will be notified in writing if your request is accepted a week before the event.

7. PHOTOGRAPHY
Impression photography is allowed by photographers who have received a press card. Performances by artists may, however, only be photographed with the permission of the management. We will request this and permission is usually granted to photograph the first three songs, although sometimes this permission is not granted and should be respected. It is also important to know that artists like to be photographed WITHOUT flash. If flash is used after all, then you will be summoned to leave the photo pit.

8. VIDEO AND AUDIO RECORDINGS
Video and audio recordings may only be made with the consent of management. This can be requested from the relevant record company or you can indicate your wish in your accreditation and we will submit the request.
